You wonder how people sometimes die at midnight, or suddenly get stroke? This could explain them. Your phone ringing at night might not cause the problem outrightly but it sure breed these problems.
While some people are deep sleepers, some are light sleepers, and this issue is worst for light sleepers, however, being a light sleeper doesn’t totally exonerate you from the fact that the device you have in hand could be the agent of the problem, because even during sleep, your brain is still listening and your phone ringing during the time your body needs rest could trigger your body to churn out cortisol (the “stress hormone”) even if you never wake up. Remember that “stress hormone” increases your blood pressure and blood sugar, while decreasing your body’s ability to fight off disease. Bad news for deep sleeper, worst for light sleepers.
In as much as this calls for panic, however, there are simple remedies when applied could make you live longer and improve your heart health.
1. Switch off your phone while you sleep!
Even though this might not be easy for you especially those that need their phone to be always on.
2. Put your phone in silence while you sleep!
This could be a better remedy to option one. This will enable you return your calls. But when it becomes paramount that you must pick your calls, then responsibility demands that you do not sleep untill you are done with your phone-answering business.
